With a background in accounting, finance, and strategy consulting, Tom brings a sharp commercial acumen and industry insight to WAM Scientific. Prior to co-founding the business, Tom worked in management consulting, working extensively with engineering and environmental services firms, advising on growth strategy, operations, and market entry.

Tom’s interest in environmental monitoring and testing began during a consulting engagement with a major environmental monitoring company seeking to expand into adjacent industries. This sparked a deeper appreciation for the critical role accurate, accessible monitoring equipment plays across sectors.

Today, Tom leads the company’s strategy and partnerships, ensuring WAM Scientific remains nimble, reliable, and trusted by professionals across Australia.

Rentals Technician

Geoff

Geoff is an experienced technician responsible for the inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of specialised environmental and workplace health and safety monitoring equipment. With a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail, he ensures all instruments meet manufacturer specifications and industry compliance standards before deployment to clients.

In this role, Geoff supports both sales and rental equipment, carrying out diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and fault finding across a wide range of instrumentation. Geoff plays a key role in maintaining the reliability and accuracy of equipment, helping clients achieve dependable monitoring results across environmental and occupational settings.
